Then you have come to the right place. It doesn’t matter how fit you are (or aren’t) when you arrive at Fresh. The workouts will be scaled to your fitness level, whether that be the weight you lift, the rep count to complete or the time you have to complete the workout. All you need to do is turn up with a positive can-do attitude and be willing to be taught.
Am I to old for Fresh? Do I need some minimum level of fitness?
Fresh is for anyone, regardless of their age or fitness level. Our members range from 12 years to 60 years+. Our workouts and exercises scale to any level – from broomsticks to barbells, we’ll tailor the workout to your ability.
Can I still do Classes if i have an injury?
Our instructors are always happy to work with you to scale and substitute exercises and tailor workouts to your abilities. We cannot offer you specific medical advice. We advise you consult your physician before starting.
Will Training & lifting weights make me bulky?
No girls, Lifting will not make you bulky. Lifting weights will actually help you burn more calories.
Is Functional Training dangerous?
Our coaches preach safety and technique. They will work with you to ensure you only do what you feel ready to do. Our classes are programmed specifically to ensure that you’re safe and having fun at the same time.
What should I wear and do i need to bring anything?
Whatever you feel most comfortable in. Shorts, singlets, 3/4 pants, tights. Make sure you bring along a water bottle and towel.
How often should I come?
We recommend that you attend a minimum of three times per week to maintain fitness and to see progress. Most of our members attend 4-6 times per week and are disappointed when they miss a class.
